Explore our Phuket Elephant Care sanctuary situated in Naithon in a green forest area with a big natural lake on the island of Phuket. We offer a convenient pickup service directly from your hotel by comfortable minivan pick with safety and a smile.

The friendly staff of Phuket Elephant Care will welcome you with coffee and tea including bread and some snacks, and you will get an introduction in advanced ECO tourism to prepare for your encounter.

Then it is time to meet these gentle giants and walk with them into the green jungle zone. Along the way you will get to know the way of the elephant's life from our nature-loving tour guides and learn more about the elephant's habits and history. Join our sustainable activity by planting banana trees and Napier grass, the elephants' favorite food.

At noon, enjoy an authentic Thai lunch under the welcome shade back at the sanctuary, before preparing fruits, vegetables and healthy herb balls for the elephants. While they enjoy their food, learn from the guides about the background of each elephant.

Next, apply a spa treatment to the elephant's skin and discover the healing benefits of special spa mud that help to heal elephant wounds from many kinds of scratches, and skin damage. Finally you can take a bath with them in the large natural lake which is a welcome cool-down. Create one-of-a-kind photo keepsakes with these extraordinary animals.

Master the art of Pad Thai in a traditional Thai cooking class, followed by a delicious tasting of your creations. The last activity is to paint your own small magnetic elephant which you can take back home together with a keychain as souvenir. Leave inspired and informed, having supported the elephants with maximum freedom to naturally roam, forage, bathe and socialize at the Phuket Elephant Care Sanctuary.

What to bring
